The woods extended all the way up to the beach sand are spotted only with a few local, rural and traditional buildings. It is because of their age, shortage and beauty that these constructions have ended up belonging to the landscape that embraces them, to a point where the image of those buildings with gabled roofs is intimately related to it. This is precisely the train of thought that brings us to how we approach the insertion of a building designed for aquatic activities and sports in the Ría de Arousa. The project proposed emerges looking at itself in all those traditional and anonymous architectures that spatter the coast, borrowing their constructive, formal and typological clarity. Like three modern horreos looking to the sea, three volumes with gabled roofs, they slide past each other towards the water. Each of the three volumes is a basic and economic construction, also similar to the old port sheds and, inside and between them, the different inside and outside areas planned are settled.
