The project, in all its facets, claims the culture of the southern city, the Mediterranean City. The form, the construction of the house, the neighbourhood relationship and the voluntary dissolution between the domestic and the collective imply a very human way of living, and of living together.
At the urban level, the project aims to recover the spirit of the original design of the neighbourhood although the volumetric is determined by urban planning regulations. Thus, the building tries to establish dialogues between public and private space, at the spatial, visual and plant level, that this, the objective is to relate to the environment in an open way, with generous, green and optimistic spaces.
On the other hand, neighbourly relations of the building itself and the neighbourhood are enhanced with meeting spaces and shared uses. The intermediate spaces, between the house and the city, which give access to the dwellings, are casual meeting or living points. Also, the proposal reinforces its “vitality” and its interaction with the urban environment thanks to the strengthening the presence of vegetation in the houses and in the building.
