The project involves the creation of a social and cultural centre over the imprint of Reinosa’s old civic market hall, a space that citizens still refer to as “The Square” today. Possibly, the first question that arises is whether this space should be a building or a square since, despite its new use, it is preferable that its status as a public space of reference is not neglected. Therefore, the option of enabling both situations at once was the most convenient: a building that can be understood and used as a square, or even a square that works as a building, 365 days a year. Well, neither black nor white: grey.
