In preparation for the 2012 UEFA European Football Championship, many Polish sports clubs are working hard to improve their sports facilities and football stadiums. This project consists of designing and building a new multi-use sports hall as part of the TS Wisla sports club and as an extension of its current hall within a well-demarcated yet restricted space. Predicated on a purely functional solution to a more or less complex problem of optimizing the limited space available, and in view of its inability to stand out independently, the proposal finds its raison d’être in its relationship with pre-existing buildings, in the search for and treatment of its own indoor and outdoor public spaces and in the materialization of its image.
